Why eat winter pears?

You have many reason  to eat them: they are not only refreshing and nutritious, they provide multiple vitamins (C, B complex, A, E and K), minerals (sodium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, phosphorus, sulphur, chlorine, iodine and especially potassium), and enzymes.

It is one of the fruits with fewer calories and most fiber.

Need more reasons to eat pears? You should know that thy contain tannins which have astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. 

More? This fruit is ideal for those taking diuretics, because they supplement potassium losses associated with the repeated removal of liquids.

The PEAR, is especially beneficial as purifying and remineralizing, laxative, stomachic, astringent and sedative. It is recommended for diabetics, hypertensives and for those who have suffered from heart disease, and of great value in cases of rheumatism, gout, arthritis, stress, anemia, diarrhea, obesity and high blood pressure.
