At Landfruit we produce 5,400 tons of peaches of the varieties red (from May to the first week of September), white (May to July) and pavia (from late May to August)
Why eat peaches?
This fleshy fruit is a powerful restorative which prevents cardiovascular and degenerative problems and strengthens the immune system. Their continued use helps to reduce stress, anemia and improves the functioning of bones and teeth.
Due to it´s iron content, the peach is indicated in case of anemia and if it is taken before each meal, it acts in the body as a tonic and cleanser.
Thanks to it´s composition (86% water) and low-calorie, it is also recommended in diets for weight loss. In addition, peach juice and nectar (juice with pulp) have diuretic properties, so they are suitable for the renal function.
The B group vitamins present in peaches help to metabolise and digest food.
